The Mistral™ high reliability thermostal controlled dual fan module is available with either PC/104 or PC/104+ bus interface. This module is ideal to remove hot spots in closed systems or providing convection cooling for high power boards in a stack. One fan blows up and the other down resulting in a circulating airflow on both sides of the Mistral™ fan module.

A wide operating temperature range of -30 to +75°C and the thermostat disabling fan operation when temperatures are low adds to reliability and operating life. The trip point of the fans is adjustable with a trimpot, fan activity is indicated with a status LED.
