General Description:

The INT-1461 is a complete, low cost, single-chip solution for analog broadcast video signal capture over the PC/104Plus PCI-bus. The module takes full advantage of the PCI-bus bandwidth and its inherent architectural multimedia support. This module is designed to operate together with any other PCI multimedia device in your system.

A full coverage of video and audio capture features allow you to bring high performance multimedia functionalities into your Embedded System. Designed to address the demanding requirements of high performance digital video acquision, the INT-1461 meets PC98/PC99 requirements as well as being fully PCI 2.2 compliant. It can capture single frames from up to 4 different analog video inputs simultaneously. The INT-1461 can be used as the hub of an Embedded PC system connecting the multiple analog and digital video sources to the CPU module via a single PCI connection. The INT-1461 also includes (as an option) the FI1216 MK2 video TV tuner.

For systems that require compressing video capture capabilities Eurotech recommends the CTR-1472 for MPEG4 or alternatively the CTR-1471 module for JPEG2000 compression onboard. These compressing video capture modules relieve the compression processing from the host CPU and are ideal for high speed real-time video recording and processing application.
