The Eurotech DAQ-1277 solves many digital I/O-interface problems on a highly integrated freely programmable board. Different functions can be attached to the 48 I/O-pins by reconfiguring the board control registers. This eliminates the need for different types of low functionality digital boards in a sytestem. A low power high density FPGA chip contains all the complex logic needed to adapt your DAQ-1277 to different applications. I/O pins are fully programmable with direction, pull-up or pull down as well as alternate functions that can be attached to the pins. These include counter timers, incremental encoders, input masking and output pattern triggering and PWM control outputs. All digital I/O pins are individually EMI-filtered and protected against overvoltage transients.

The Eurotech FlexiSet software configures the BASE address, IRQ and board I/O setup and stores it in an EEPROM.
