General Description:

The Eurotech DAQ-1250 is a reliable isolated solution for DC servo motor control in embedded systems. Two independent motion control channels are galvanically isolated from each other and the computer up to 500Vrms provide high reliability operation in noisy environments. Isolation guarantees that motor currents return will not flow through the computer ground and disturb the computer operation. The LM629 programmable motion control chips operating at 6MHz require minimum software overhead to perform smooth complex trajectory movements. The onboard full H-bridge can drive up to 50V motors with a 6A continuous current. If more powerful motor drive is required the external motor control port can be used to interface to an external power stage. Two general purpose power N-channel MOSFET outputs can be used to drive relays to control or interrupt motor power in case of an emergency.

The Eurotech advanced FlexiSet software configurable non-volatile BASE address, IRQ and board resource configuration is stored in an EEPROM and can be modified while the system is fully built. No jumpers are used for configuration. This allows for reconfiguration of resources after the system has been assembled. Extensive use of SMD technology improves mechanical resistance to shocks and vibrations.
