General Description:

The COM-1452 is a high integration all-in-one 5 x 10/100Mbit Ethernet interface module for high performance networking systems capable of bridging togethr five independent Ethernet LAN networks.

Hardware bypassing is supported through Ports 1 and 2 through software control or by th external WDT (Watchdog timer). This Bypassing mode is default when the module is powered off. The five on-board high performance Intel® 82551 controllers are capable of offloading TCP, UDP and IP checksum processing from the main CPU. Hardware controlled TCP segmentation is supported for Large Send operations.

Two temperature ranges are available: "standard" (0 to + 60°C) and "extended" with testing and qualification for operation in (-40 to + 85°C) extended temperature range.
