The AIM104-CAN single channel CAN-bus controller board is designed to operate in difficult electrical environments encountered in vehicles and industry. An industry standard Philips SJA1000 CAN controller is decoded into the address space of the host PC into 32 consecutive byte addresses. EMI-filtering of the CAN-interfaces and bus protection ensure compliance with the CAN-specification as well as EU low voltage directives required for CE compliance. A dual channel isolated CAN interface module COM-1273 is available from Eurotech for application requiring redundance or galvanically isolated CAN network interface.
