The Eurotech ACS-5175 is purpopse built for military 24V vehicle or 28V aircraft systems. This COTS power supply is the perfect match for PC/104 or PC/104 Plus systems requiring compliance with MIL-STD-1275 and/or MIL-STD-704 as well as GAM-EG13 for EMC, temprature as well as shock and vibration.

A three stage proprietary input protection and three stage filtering unit reduces radiated and conducted emissions as well as radiated susceptibility well below the levels defined by MIL-STD-461. Galvanical isolation, an ultra wide input range and a heavy duty multi-stage input protection circuitry is dimensioned to withstand excessive spikes +-600V/10us or +-250V/70us, transients of 80V indefinitely or 100V up to 50us. Reverse voltage protection will withstand -100Vdc indefinitely.

Resistance to high levels of shock and vibration are a result of the mechanical design of the ACS-5175. All heat dissipating, heavy or big components are fixed on the bottom (solder side) of the board. These components including the DC-DC converter are intended to connect to a structural heat dissipating surface below the power supply. The ACS-5175 is intended to be the bottom most board of your PC/104 stack.

The output voltages of +5V and +12V are supplied into the PC/104 bus and can also be accessed from the terminal blocks on side of the board. Indicator LEDs show the status of the power outputs. The power supply can be switched ON/OFF remotely with a switch. Multiple modules can be synchronized to work together with a common or external frequency timing signal.
