General Description:

The Eurotech ACS-5161 galvanically isolated power supply is designed to meet the requirements of aircraft, vessel or industrial installations. An continuous output power of 60W and peak 100W will provide adequate power to guarantee reliable operation under difficult load conditions commonly encountered in high speed CPU systems. Resistance to high levels of shock and vibration are a result of the mechanical implementation of the ACS-5161 power supply. All heavy and big components are secured to the PC-board. The DC/DC converter module is mounted on the bottom side of the board to easily facilitate the construction of a structural heat dissipation solution to a heat conductive base or enclosure wall. The ACS-5161 is intended to be mounted as the bottom most board of your PC/104 computer stack.

Reverse input voltage protection up to -45VDC and short term tolerance of spikes up to 50V (1ms) make this power supply the ideal choice for battery operated +24VDC systems. The onboard common mode input filter and protection circuitry meet the requirements of the EC low voltage directives for CE compliance EN55022-B and EN61000. Integration of the filter stage on the board makes system integration easier eliminating external pre-filter boards. Emissions are reduced by optimal board layout as well as filtering of all the outputs of the board including the power that is supplied into the PC/104 bus. The output voltages are driven into the PC/104 bus and can also be accessed from reasily removable terminal blocks on the side of the module. Indicator LEDs show the status of the power outputs. The power supply can be switched ON/OFF remotely with a switch or ignition key of a vehicle.

Eurotech manufactures a dedicated isolated power supply for military ground vehicled or aircraft. The ACS-5175 has 75W of output power and has a proprietary three stage input protection and filter stage to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-461/1275 and MIL-STD-704. All Eurotech power supplies are connector location and pinout compatible.
