General Description:

The INT-1410 is a complete, versatile all-in-one interface module for multimedia systems requiring audio and video signal processing and routing using a multi-port crosspoint switch. This module takes full advantage of the PCI-bus bandwidth and the multimedia oriented architecture of this module.

This topology is capable of routing and interconnecting 8 analogue or audio input and 6 audio output signals as well as two digital (S/PDIF) input/output channels. High precision front-end audio CODECs can be coupled to the 8 audio inputs. Additionally it is possible to interface two optional auxiliary analogue I/O channels with a programmable audio front-end CODEC.

The combination of audio CODECs and the crosspoint switch makes this module suitable for announcement, audio recording systems, vessel event recorders and security systems. Interfacing to external microphones and high power audio devices is supported by an optional echo canceller, microphone pre-amplifier and a 1W audio power stage.

S-VDR and full functionality VDR systems are ideal applications for the Eurotech INT-1410 multi-port audio crosspoint swich COCEC interface module. This module combined together with the CPU-1433 PC/104+ GX2 CPU and two COM-1274 8-port serial interface modules is the ideal core of a vessel VDR DAU (Data Acquisition Unit).

Two temperature ranges are available: "standard" (0 to + 60°C) and "extended" with testing and qualification for operation in (-40 to + 85°C) extended temperature range.
